Hey Kevin....

maybe I can boost your quest for B-24's built at Tulsa - as you surely know, a lot of crippled bombers sought haven in Switzerland during WW2 and were interned for the duration of the war. 166 US-planes ended up here, the bigger part landed, some crashed. A number was returned to U.S. control in October 1945, i.e. flown to BAD-1 Burtonwood, England, where these a/c were eventually scrapped.

Among the many B-24's that came down in Switzerland, there were some Tulsa-built examples. I do have a large collection of photographs of interned aircraft and surely will be able to throw some scans your way.

As a starter / teaser, please find below a listing of those DT B-24's that arrived in Switzerland during WW2:

41-28583 448th BG 713th BS "IG-F" - arrival 24th April 1944 Dübendorf (landing)
41-28602 448th BG 713th BS "IG-E" - arrival 24th April 1944 Payerne (landing)
41-28629 453rd BG 733rd BS "F8-P" - arrival 13th April 1944 Dübendorf (landing)
41-28692 392nd BG 576th BS "CI-J" - arrival 18th March 1944 Dübendorf (landing)
41-28711 448th BG 712th BS "CT-N" - arrival 20th July 1944 Dübendorf (landing)
41-28738 458th BG 754th BS "Z5-O" - arrival 11th May 1944 Jegenstorf (crash)
41-28948 389th BG 565th BS "EE-K" - arrival 12th July 1944 Basel-Birsfelden (landing)
41-28989 455th BG 742th BS "44" - arrival 12th September 1944 Dübendorf (landing)
41-28994 455th BG 740th BS "13" - arrival 12th September 1944 Payerne (landing)
41-28997 460th BG 761st BS "N" - arrival 22nd September 1944 Altenrhein (landing)
42-51106 392nd BG 576th BS "CI-A" - arrival 11th July 1944 Altenthein (landing)
42-51113 491st BG 855th BS "3Q-T" - arrival 12th July 1944 Payerne (landing)
42-51132 454th BG 739th BS - arrival 20th July 1944 Weisslingen (crash)

I will try to sort out the photographs and scan them as soon as possible.
Cordially
