Central London was priviledged today to witness what was described as a "low key" celebration flypast to commemorate the 90th birthday of the RAF .....
The embankment along the river Thames holds many significant memorials, this one commemorates the Battle Of Britain and all who served in it.
Further along the river bank and framed here by Westminster and Big Ben is the RAF War Memorial, which is the aiming point for todays flypast ....
The 2008 Aerobatic Team of the Royal Air Force ~ The Red Arrows, with four Eurofighter Typhoons keeping them company ....
