B-24H s/n 41-28678 J3+K 755th BD 458th BG shot down on their 5th mission attacking the BMW engine plant at Berlin March March 22, 1944. Crew was captured except the bombardier who was killed. His chute wasn't useable with the type harness he was wearing. The bombardier got the chute partly attached but the navigator refused to bail out and he had to be left in the a/c :cry:

Yaaaaaaaaaaaaaay!!! A DT B-24! Comparatively, those are pretty rare (only 962 out of the 18,000+ produced). I've been trying to track down photos of all DT B-24s, and have about 25-30% so far. Got any more?
