Flying Bulls P-38 Update?

Tue Mar 18, 2008 1:52 pm

According to the site it was running at the end of 2007, figured it would have flown by now. Anybody have info?

They did alot of work on that airplane, including installing equipment not normally found in your average P-38.

I am sure they are working through the multiple certification issues that would be faced with the FAA.

The guys as Ezell did a wonderful job on that airplane.

For those of you looking for a P-38 fix, here are some pics that I took when I visited Ezell back in January. They are indeed waiting on all the FAA paperwork to get approved. But the craftsmanship is among the finest I have ever seen. See for yourself.

Nelson is going to do the firewall forward mods to FIFI's new hybrid 3350's. That nacelle is on loan from Kermit's 29 parts in CA.
