During a brief stop at the Clermont County Airport, in Batavia, OH, I went to the Tri-State Warbird Museum.

Due to the snow showers that have fallen in the area, the museum that is usually open on Saturdays, was closed. Today (Sunday) by coincidence, the Tech for the collection, Mr. Steve Emory, was there working.

He informed me that the museum was closed, but upon my explaining that I had travelled from Texas (Yeeee-Haw!!!) he allowed me a few minutes to look around. He is the owner of a T-6, and is in the process of relocating to the Cincinnatti area.

Aircraft seen today:

P-40 New Zealand markings, a WW-II combat veteran with several kills to its credit. It is being restored.

FG-1D under restoration, former Baa-Baa Black Sheep T.V. series machine, also undergoing restoration.

P-51D Cincinnatti Miss (A New Mustang for me, having never seen it before!)

Newly Built Focke-Wulf 190 Red 13, being assembled.

TBM Avenger NL420GP

Boeing PT-17 N224DF "224"

N.A.A. T-6 "Tweety" "No Guts No Glory" N7RK

N.A.A. B-25 (sorry, I did not get an "N" number on this baby)

Saludos,

Tulio

Don't forget the most important part: All of the aircraft are flyable (the finished ones, anyway...eventually, they all will be.)

The TBM recently appeared in a Sci-fi channel documentary about the Bermuda Triangle.
