Most importantly from a fighter/bomber point of view, Venezuela has the Sukhoi Su-30MK2 Flanker.
That is a formidible fighter in ANY realm all over the world, not just a "South American brush war".
Although I can't imagine that Chavez's pilots are all that proficient in the mighty Flanker at the moment, I would be willing to put money on them making some big scores in both the air to air and air to ground arenas.

Venezuela and Colombia both have OV-10s. It's unfortunate that they both have memberships in the OV-10 Broco Association and have both attended Bronco functions here in the states. It would be terrible if they wound up flying against each other.

Colombia has a bunch of Super-Tucanos they bought from Brasil and that according to the news, were the ones used in the attack in Ecuador. The other thing to consider is what kind of munitions they have ´cause the strike to the FARC guerrillas, was with some kind of "smart" bombs.

The Pucara is an interesting aircraft. From what I've read, a bunch of them were destroyed on teh ground by British aircraft during the Falklands conflict. Is Argentina still flying any Pucaras, or are they all gone? One of them would make a neat-o warbird!
Cheers!

There's a couple of captured ones preserved in the UK, IIRC. RAF Museum Cosford, and (I think) the Army Air Corps Museum? Not fliers, although one was tested at Farnborough, in the 80s, again IIRC.
