I found boxes and boxes full of old air classics from their first days at publishing! also a big double hole Bendix injection carb of of I dont know what yellow tagged in the early 60's and still in its original shipping livery. I got it when I picked up a bunch of old 4360 carbs for parts. Ill take some photos and see if any of you you can identify it.
I wonder what other treasures I have. I know there are a lot of B-52 odds and ends.... :D

P: Noise coming from under instrument panel. Sounds like a midget pounding on something with a hammer.

S: Took hammer away from midget.

Geez, back in the early 1970s the So. Minnesota Wing CAF, had a large pile of Bendix PR-58 carburetors (yellow tagged)(R-2800 or R-3350), that we sold for $25.00 each. Not many were sold, so we sold the remaining to a scrap dealer to help pay for hangar rent. UGH!

those old air classics are plenty collectable, alot of old long forgotten info in them i'm sure. i'd say they would go for at least a buck a piece if not more to the right person. are they in good shape??

if they are real oldies you'll find plenty of info that has fallen through the cracks over the years, even better than the with wisenhimers on wix!!also check out the ads & prices for stuff back 15 years plus!! ask tulio..... he bought a couple hundred mags from me, a wealth of info, but he said they smelled like varmint poontang!! but i think he was still happy with the purchase :?: :hide: at garbage..... uhh i mean garage sales i sell mags 6 for a buck. i subscripe to 7 publications. i could save $$$$ by reading them on line, but there is nothing like the couch, quite, a gin & tonic & an aviation mag. no smart ass remarks re: playboy etc. :P :bear:
