Precision Airomotive Fuel Control Alert

Thu Mar 06, 2008 11:06 am

We were forwarded this from our Cessna Tech Rep. I don't know what IO360 the Oscar Deuce has but, this is worth a look. It also hits a bunch of Lycomings.

Yeah, this is bad news. We grounded our 4 Piper Arrows & Super Decathlon. 3 of the 4 Arrows had this issue; haven't inspected the Decathlon yet.

Thanks for the heads up. I forwarded it to a buddy of mine that has a Super Decathlon.

That fuel servo is for a Lycoming IO-360 (4 cylinder), not a Continental IO-360 (6 cylinder).

TSIO-360R's....not used on Cessna products, I need to recheck, but I think that used on the newer Mooney's.

Just checked, used on Piper Seneca V's
