RAF Blind flying Panel

Sun Feb 17, 2008 5:24 am

Hi all, I'm looking for a 6a/760 BFP for a static instrument panel project. Would anyone have a 1:1 scale template/drawing of the RAF Blind flying panel stock ref 6a/760 (rounded top) OR a real one minus instrumention that they would sell?

Cheers,
Chris

AusFlyboy,

"battle" (David) from south Victoria was making some blanks to raise funds for his fairey battle cockpit restoration, suggest you hunt him down here, or keypublishing or the warbirdz forum under that nic.

regards

Mark Pilkington

Dunno, but check this out: http://www.gbairspares.co.uk/reference/bfp.htm

For manuals, blueprints, etc. check this with Gerry Herft (warbirds@military-aircraft-photos.com) or his website (http://www.military-aircraft-photos.com/blueprints-technical-drawings.htm). One of the best around.
Cheers,
SC.

Thanks Mark, I know David quite well. He was doing 6a/616 panel blanks (rectangle type). I could convert a 616 to a 760 but still need to know the curve radius for the top.
