I am searching for some cool Wominx building Warbirds from WWII pics.
I went to our beloved National Archive and got a couple, including this classic.
Image

Anybody else got any you could post Pretty Please?
I intend to incorporate them into a Power Point Presentation for our awards dinner Sat. night.
The reason being, if I need to convince some Volunteers that if a 20 something Young Lady can learn to build a bomber, some of us crustier types are going to HAVE to step up to the plate.

Help a WIXer out, if you can!

Jerry WINS the Prize!

Please forward your address by PM and I will send you a drilled out rivet from TEXAS RAIDERS...
Suitable for mounting on a plaque...

Plaque NOT included!
:D

NOW... What kind of Aeroplane is that Little Rascal building?
Too simple...

Which Station or Bulkhead?
That's more like it!

Spanner-

If you have a special request, I can probably get it for you tomorrow. I have pics from Tulsa with Rosies working on A-24s, B-24s, A-26s in almost every aspect of construction. I also have all of the support personnel, selling bonds, doing payroll, doing photography, working as nurses, transport pilots, etc. Just PM me if you need something specific.

This is a picture from Yank magazine of the future Marilyn Monroe working at the Radioplane factory in 1944.

They made RC drones for AAA training.
