attached to the 36th BS RCM (Radio Counter Measures) - interesting is the gun-pod - the formation lights are well known for P-51D's - they also were known as 'foul weather lights' and are identical to those installed in the P-51 stbd wing....

This will be ancient history for some, but the gun pod (mounting side-by-side .50 cals) was originally designed by Douglas for the A-26. I've seen pics of the same mounted under the wings of both SB2C-5 and TBY-2.

AAF112 on the photo refers to RAF Bovingdon, a base used by 8th Technical Ops (see Mighty Eighth War Manual). Doesn't of course mean that the photo was taken here.
