Hi everyone,

Sorry to be posting on here, but since it is relatively warbird and aviation relevant, I figured it might be a good place to start.

On March 1st, Daniel Webster College is holding their 10th Anniversary Auction for Scholarship fundraising. If you don't know of DWC; it's website is at: http://www.dwc.edu. For over 40 years, it's been the predominant aviation college in the Northeast (in Nashua, NH) and was the college I graduated from in 2001 with a Bachelor Degree in Aviation Management.

The scholarship committee is looking for items or experiences they can auction off during the live auction and with the economy the way it is, things have been coming in slowly.

I am asking anyone here if you might be willing to donate a flight in your plane (can be anywhere... St. Louis, Aspen, Montana... you name it), or some interesting item (as long as it arrives by the 28th of February). Even trip opportunities or experiences like use of a vacation home or lunch with a celebrity or noted personality would be great. Even something like the opportunity to be a crewmember on your plane at a show like TOM, Oshkosh, Airsho, or Geneseo would be great... creative ideas are always appreciated. Smaller items are also fine, as there is a silent auction as well...

As you all know, it isn't getting any cheaper to fly or learn how to fly these days... and with the instructor shortages, payroll costs have been increasing as well. As a result, the costs get passed to the students... so scholarships are needed more than ever. This auction contributes significantly to the $5.5 Million in scholarships that DWC provides to students... students who are the future pilots, managers, air traffic controllers, aeronatucal engineers, and warbird enthusiasts of the world.

If you can help, please contact me at keough.ryan@gmail.com or call me at 480-309-0454. Thanks in advance for any help!

Thanks,
Ryan
