IIRC from his book, the front gun was operated -blindly' by an african crewmember, with a length of rope tied to his foot. When Zumbach wanted him to open fire, he yanked on the rope...
I am trying to remember the name of Zumbach's book, but I am drawing a blank just now.

This aircraft came to Biafra as a B-26R N12756, cn/7245. Originally a USAAF A-26B-40-DL 41-39531, N64Y, FrAF 4139531 it received it's
strange nose during trials with radar while with the French..
The nose gun was a Czech built tripod mounted infantry weapon. A second weapon was mounted in the tear of the bomb bay pointing down.
One source describes the camo as a swirling pattern while another has a profile similar to the one shown on this post. Photos are inconclusive to me.
