I contacted Mr. Michael Benolkin who took this photograph, and he didn't seem to happy that his photo was "out there" (here), I asked him about the photo, and he said that aircraft was located out at a restaurant near the perimeter of LAX..Probably one of D.T.'s former restaurants.

Confirmed... it's located at the "Proud Bird" Restaurant at LAX:

You can make out the P-40 in the trees at the front of the building. Lot's of those fiberglass replicas around that place! I'd be interested in knowing what is original though (I am guessing the C-45 at least).

I was told that the aircraft appeared to be authentic, he didn't "thump it" to see if it was or most of it was fiberglass or not, and that there were several other aircraft there as well but didn't know if they were real ir not.

Ryan,
The C-45, A-4, MiG-17 and F-86 are real. The F-80 is a real T-33.
So says the Colonel!!!!

It sure looks legit to me! Minus the Cooling Radiators.. and the guns as well. Other then that she looks like a beauty!
