G'day Sabredriver,

CAC Mustang A68-187 was owned at one point by Hockey Treloar. At one stage it was partly converted to use a RR Dart turboprop. Never completed, it ended up in the US.

somewhere in calif. I have seen pictures of two of them together in green cammo

You might be thinking of the Piper Enforcer Mustangs that where also turbo powered.
