I've been looking for any additional photos of this large flyover. Anyone have additional photos ... I believe my father was a part of this flyover, so I'm trying to do research. I finally got his logbooks sent to me and some logs are difficult to read and understand. Anyone have an idea of what aircraft were involved? what carriers? etc.

here's all the photos I could find and additional info.

Well, I really have some research to do now. I don't believe my father was a part of any of those carriers or air groups. Very frustrating to do research that far back with what I have. I'll keep hacking away though. Still, I'm surprised that there are not a treasure of photos out there of this event. Seems there would have been several photographers at that time.

A good friend of mine was in a helldiver from the U.S.S Essex. VB-83. Pretty cool to see those photos and know he was in it. I will show these to him.
