Heard that the P-61 would probably break into pieces if it was moved. Anyone confirm that? The mainspar was supposed to be rotten.

who knows what they are doing does a survey I say 'poppycock' Last time I heard they wanted 6 mil for it, but if you know who to bribe it could be had for less.

Moved where? I was not the least bit concerned whilst standing beneath it when I sneezed... I suggest these rumors were started by people who had never been within 1000 miles of it.
So did the MAAM P-61 have good spars? Why does any of this matter? Is someone proposing to pre-lube the engines and fly it out?
