That is just all kinds of awesome... there's an Easter Bunny versus Santa Claus joke in there somewhere. Interesting method of prepping the shoulder belts as well... I've not seen that done before.

Maybe I'd never paid attention to this before, but I just spotted the key lock in the P-39's cockpit door.
This brings to mind several questions;
Was Buffalo that tough a place in the mid 40's?
What happens if it's a scramble, and as you leap up on the wing, you remember the keys are in your other flight coveralls?
What if some 'do gooder' just assigned Private freaks out at all the keys left in doors and gathers them up in a cigar box, and drops them off in Ops just as an alert sounds? :shock:
