I just got back from my honeymoon on Monday. My wife and I went to Hawaii and visited both the islands of Ohau (and saw Pearl Harbor) and Kauai.

Well, my wife enjoyed the visit to Pearl and she even went on the Battleship USS Missouri and really enjoyed that. But after that, she was pretty much what we refered to as "airplaned out." So we leave Ohau and arrive at Kauai expecting to be done with the "airplane stuff." We pull out of the airport and in less than 10 seconds, what do we see? An A-4E sitting at a Veterans Center! So, she was patient as we pulled in as I had to snap a few pictures!

Before we went, I of course checked Mike's Locator for aircraft and did not see one on Kauai, so here is one more for you.

Here is the link on the Registry.

Here are the pictures.

I didn't check WIX all weekend, but it is part of my practice to do so at work before starting work. Unfortunately I can't see your pictures here at work. I'll check out this thread when I get home tonight.

Until then, here is a map of the Hawaii locations in the Locator...

http://www.aerialvisuals.ca/Locator.php ... aii#TheMap

...there is nothing for Kauai, so to find it you need to zoom out a bit and move to the north west. If you don't mind, zoom into the location of the A-4 (you might want to use the Hybrid feature) and then right click on the location. You will be given a set of coordinates. Please post those coordinates here.

TIA

Mike

Do you want to find locations of displayed, stored or active aircraft? Then start with the The Locator.
Do you want to find or contribute to the documented history of an aircraft? If so then start with the Airframes Database.
