Current warbirds you have NOT seen

Sun Jan 06, 2008 9:37 pm

What current warbirds, that you have never seen in person, in existance today, either flying or soon to fly, would you go way out of your way to see fly?

P-61 is on the top of my list and probably a lot others!

Red Bull P-38, I would certainly travel to see her fly.

I would be quite interested in seeing POF's P-59 on its first post-restoration flight.

I would love to see the TFC P-39, P-40B, and Hawk 75 fly but Duxford is more than a little out of my way! The P-61 and P-82 will be very high on my list when they are done as well.

Aside from the P-61, the Vindicator in Pensacola.

Of course, when hell freezes over, priorities will change once a Devastator gets recovered! 8)

None of them unless I was to be inside manipulating the controls.

I wanted to see Black 6 fly but it didn't fly at the show I went to due to high winds.

Not too sure if it is going to happen, but if Shoo Shoo Shoo Baby is gonna fly from Dayton to DC, I will certainly go way out of my way to see that! Can't wait to see the P-61 flying also :P

A Mossie. I don't care if it's static or flying, I love that aircraft. Next to the Spit Mk. IX it's my favorite and since there's a mint Mk. IX about 200 yards away from where I'm sitting right now the Mosquito is #1 on my list of aircraft to see.

Like everyone else, the P-61 is a definate "must see." I'd also love to see an A-20 in the air. I've seen the NMUSAF bird many times, and the hulk currently being rebiult at Pima, but I've never seen a Havoc fly. With the Lone Star bird headed Down Under, looks like I'll have to wait for the one at Genesseo to be finished.
