in reply please no taylin barbs for scott's & justin's sake........a 2009 new guinea expedition, good odds to finding warbirds - today's sunday paper had a great article regarding new guinea's mountain ice glaciers. a team from the ohio state university ( go bucks!!) will be going to punkan jaya from may to june 2009 to study the mountain glaciers shrinking in that region regarding the global warming dilemma. this region into the isolated mist shrouded highlands is seldom visited even by tribes in the area, across papua new guinea's border in the indonesian half of this island. most of the area is uncharted to this day!! surely some significant finds will be encountered along the way!! time will tell what significant finds they come across in search for their ice cubes!!!
