cg51, I looked it up, check this out....Aviation is an exciting field, I'd love to have been in my early 20's back then

I never new what that airplane was, It was parked just west of the Museum on the north side of the field, I never seen it fly! I spent a few summers on the airport during the time my dad was head of the restoration team on the Bearcat and Zero. Thanks for the link

Here are a couple of shots of the Bearcat Bu# 95255, N58204 during the restoration, that is my dad (the sheet metal wizard) standing by the right main gear in the first shot. The Bearcat in now with Rod Lewis

And in the other pictures already in this thread, it looks like it's had the nose of a BT-13 grafted on.

Miss Fit is now with Charles Osborne flying as Shangri-La. I got my first Mustang ride in Miss Fit back in 1992
