I was home in Aspen over New Years, I would have enjoyed meeting you or most other WIXers. How was your visit, did you ski? Our snow is about as good as can be, but we have had some unusually cold days.
As for topics of conversation, it's just like meeting folks at an airshow, mostly we talk about flying, not politics. If you are into politics, my 24 year old son majored in it and can talk your ear off with all the latest research.
As for the NHL , we have a local pilot, John Mcbride who used to be in the NHL, I think as a goalie.

Yes, I'm aware of John, I don't know him though, we have a terrible rain problem here in Santa Barbara right now, too much rain too fast. I have a large hill / mountain behind my house, I'm on watch right now. Ugh!!! what next? .... I'll PM you Bill, yes indeed I would really like to chat with you. And stay with us, we need you around here. I know where you're coming from and you mean no harm to anyone. You just have a mind that needs more of a challenge than most of us .... IMHO

My name is Mark, BTW

Hi Bill, tried to PM you but for some reason the site is real slow and keeps crashing on me. Aspen for two days, in a daze .... lololol ... Telluride for two days. Telluride was great. I wasn't so intoxicated ... lolol ... actually remember skiing there. Aspen was cold .... as for here in Santa Barbara, I'm worried about the hill behind my house, not looking good if we get a ton of rain again like last night ... :(
