They are cool biplanes. This example of an F3-F2 is at Planes of Fame in Valle, AZ.

Is that one of the three that were built in Fort Worth back in the Eightys ? got to see them being test flown next door to Chuckie Hanger . I understand that they were built from a model of one that had crashed in the late 30' s

Jack, I'm with you but think the Boeing F4B-4 would give the F3F a run for its money in the looks department.

The two place looks like Leroy Grumman's personal aircraft.

The Blues and T-birds could take note of that formation--they definitely nailed it for the photographer! 8)

OMG....If you look closely at Cadet77's first picture, you'll see the results of leaving a Spitfire in the dryer too long.

Isn't the 2 place the G-32A that was with Bill Ross in the late 1960's ?? I thought it crashed with a fuel or oil cap problem. I rode in it when Bill owned it. It was the Hanger Queen.

Yep, it crashed but I thought that the remains were used in a rebuild as part of the Texas Airplane Factory recreations. There was only one two place as part of that series of aircraft if I remember correctly.
