The January 2008 Desktop Calendars are now available from the Warbird Depot website; http://www.warbirddepot.com/desktop_calendars.asp

This month includes:

1. A rare three ship formation of Lockheed P-38 Lightning’s taken at the 2007 Planes of Fame Airshow in Chino, CA. It includes Steve Hinton flying Rod Lewis’s “Glacier Girl”, Jeff Harris in Jack Croul’s Lightning and Kevin Eldridge in the Planes of Fame Air Museum's “23 Skidoo”.
2. A dramatic view of Brian Sanders in the family's Hawker Sea Fury FB.11 "Argonaut" as seen from the Warbird Digest AT-6D Texan photo ship “Miss Universe” south of Eagles Nest airport in Ione, CA.
3. A formation of Mustangs taken at the 2007 Gathering of Mustangs and Legends in Columbus, OH. It includes Brad Hood flying Charles Osborne's N.A. P-51D Mustang "Shangrila", Tom Patten in his N.A. P-51D Mustang "Sweetie Face" and Anthony Buechler in his N.A. P-51D Mustang "Petie 2nd".
4. Todd Stuart's N.A. P-51D Mustang "Luscious Lisa", being flown by Freddy Cabanas, at the 2007 Reno National Championship Air Races in Reno, NV.
5. Matt Jackson rounding pylon #2, in the Sanders family's P&W R-4360 powered, 4,000 horsepower, Hawker Sea Fury T.20 "Dreadnought", during an unlimited class gold heat race at the 2007 Reno National Championship Air Races in Reno, NV.
6. Jim Read flying the Indiana Aviation Museum's N.A. P-51D Mustang "Excalibur" at EAA AirVenture 2004.
7. Skybound's Grumman HU-16E Albatross "Splash" taking off at EAA AirVenture 2007.
8. U.S. Navy F/A-18F Super Hornet 166673 from VFA-122, NAS Lemoore, CA waving goodbye as they fly past the control tower at Toronto's LBPIA enroute to their demonstration flight at the 2007 Canadian National Exhibition Airshow.
9. A Beechcraft 18 Expeditor in RCAF markings taking off at EAA AirVenture 2007.
