Funny how the time flys. I have been getting my scanner and giving her a workout the last few night and I just found, what I totally forgot about I even had these photos in a box.

Pics of me, about 100 lbs lighter and much better looking....in Desert Storm in my RC-135 Aircraft 4846 doing some engine runs, as we just got to Saudi Arabia a few days before and had to replace the #3 due to some shavings in her oil.

Just thought I would share these, they made me laugh and wonder where the hell almost 20 years has gone? I remember them clearly as we just arrived in country, as I still had my "Green" BDU's and not my Desert ones yet! I know they have sinced been upgraded to the "R" model engines instead of these water injected pieces of crap we had!

What is an RC-135? Look it up, I can't tell you anything about it. :)

Yup that's the one!

See the new "R" model engines on her? Looks like they added the 55th Wing logo on it and then the patch drawn out on the very top.

Of course the OF is the Offutt designation as well. Looks like they added the "Let's Roll" nose art too!

They roll out of Mildenhall as a TDY base and a stop over for Saudi Arabia visits too. So you do see them at Mildenhall R.A.F. in the UK often.

Thanks for sharing that! Wow, what a difference those new engines make to her!

Notice that on my picture, we still had the SAC logo on the side as well!
