I just read that Judge Warner is the owner of White 1 - the first of the new build 262's. Who is he? On which court does he sit? Is he a pilot? Thanks Wix'ers!

Good question. All I know is that he resides in Arizona. Does anyone know if the airplane has been delivered to the Judge? Because we haven't heard anything about future plans for this aircraft, I tend to think it is not a good sign for ever seeing it in public. Is it going to be just like the old MOF's A6M3 Zero which is owned by a Los Angeles business man, and resides at Mojave, never to see the light of day. I don't believe that Zero has ever made a public appearance since it was bought from the MOF. Does anyone have any more info on either of these aircraft?

I think that 262 is at Ione getting a re-work by the Sanders brothers.

I can tell you what I know White one was delivered on 6/11/06 and is with the Sanders. They are installing a few extra systems :? in the aircraft and reworking some areas. When will it fly or make an appearance at an air show? That is up to the owner. I would love to see her fly again but my biggest dream was to see White one and Tango Tango come screaming down 34L in pursuit of two Mustangs :D 8) However I do feel very fortunate and privileged to have worked at the 262 Project :!:

To warbird1,
In regard to the Zero you refer to; please check your facts as none of them are correct (ie. previous owner to the current owner to the aircraft location).

Okay, then please state what they are. I do know that what I said has been published in several warbird publications a few years back. I'm not averse to being corrected, but I don't believe I am wrong here. The aircraft I'm specifically referring to is Mitsubishi A6M3 Zero N553TT C/N 3858

Here is a picture of it:
http://www.airliners.net/open.file/1132683/M/
According to the picture description, this aircraft is located at Mojave.

Reference these links:

Here is the FAA N number query:
http://registry.faa.gov/aircraftinquiry ... rtxt=553TT

So what part did I get wrong?
