This is a link to a friend of mine's website. He was involved with the B-25 when it came from Canada. He's got both old and new photos of her among others(and his own L-2).

Your friend has a nice website.
"He's got both old and new photos of her"

While not the best photo ever of her, Below is I bet the newest.
It was taken only about 5 hours ago.

Quiz time. Where was this taken?
Two of you out there are not eligable on this one and you know who you are.

Hmmm...
That's a really large astro dome or a turret in need of some parts. Is it a Bendix dome or a Martin dome?

The eagle head is the mascot of the USAF Inspector General. Why it is on the side of the airplane is anyones guess. If it was mine I would slap a Cross of Lorraine on the tail until the aircraft needed repainting. Right now the aircraft is sort of in the "Sport Class" of bombers with the non-authentic interior and exterior paint selection. Seems like the cheapest way to get it looking somewhat authentic. I don't mean to knock it or anything, I am glad that whomever got it flying did so, just wouldn't have been my choices. Then again beggars can't be choosers lol.

It was purchased as a fixer-upper last year by a group led by Tom Reilly. They did some work on it, and will hang a couple of new engines. It's currently for sale. No plans to repaint.

Shortly after 9/11, a volunteer wanted to put it on the plane as a memorial. Owner said sure.

"Sport Class" is actually a good description. The previous owner intended it to honor all of the service men from the Carolinas, and did not have a particular example in mind when he painted it.
