many of you who are above 35 surely remember the old sanford & son tv show from the 70's!!! a challenge........ watch the closing credits at the end of the show, fred & lamont are loading the truck with junk, & lamont has what i'd swear to be an early rudder or stabilizer without fabric......... see what you think!!! maybe i'll be able to sleep better at night with an answer!!

Sure looks like a twin beech rudder to me. Even the short ribs for the vertical attachment of the trim tab. Everyone says it's from the 177 but I still have my doubts. I think Taigh might be able to shed some light on this one

I'm kinda thinkin' that it's a Beech 18 rudder as well. Here's a picture of one we have laying around (without the cutout for the trim tab)..........
