Is it me, or did FIFI look great in that Bell drop ship scheme.

She'll look great in any scheme as long as she's flying.

Great shots. Is that Talichet's B-24 in the bomber formation, or Collings?

I'd love to see (and hear!) a Mossie in the air someday....

Too bad we'll never see that again.

Memories: Ross Grady, John Baugh, Gary and Susan McCann.
Once I remember asking Ross and Gen. Urschler about how to use the rudder in doing rolls in a fighter. Do you use it like flying a Pitts, with on and off to hold the nose up, or more just coordinated with the ailerons into the roll?
Anyway Ross says one thing and Gen. Grandfather says another, the opposite. When they fly they are both expert and it looks good. They got to arguing about which was correct so that finally I said stop before they got as confused as they had me!
Sometime, in private ask me tell you the joke about the Canuck that wanted to go for a Mustang flight. It's too long to write and not PG, but funny.

I'd be happy to see one Connie back in the air. Hopefully next year!
