Another Huey sighting

Fellas, I'm kind a new at this, but here goes: Went to get a haircut this morning and I went by this Army Surplus Barn, they got all kinds a crap around this place and I don't usually pay much attention, but I noticed a (what I think is a UH-1B air frame up against the side of this place. Now, what should I do? Take a picture, look for a number? Are just "keep on truckin".

Let's see a photo, get some numbers and how's about a location. That'll usually get the ball rolling.

From Woodstock, head out to Air Acres and see what's there.

take lots of pics.............not just the huey................there are alot of us historians out there that like other things other then aircraft:)

OK, fellas if your coming from 575 to towne lake go east past Air Acres until you hit 140 (Arnold Mill Rd) make a right and go to the top of the hill, the store is on the right (It used to be Chadwick's Hardware and Feed)
The Huey is snugled up against the south side of the building.

Yeah, a couple of deuce and a half's, an ambulance, some inert machine guns and what looks like a signal cannon also I think an O-58 carrcas, Looks a little like a Bell Jet Ranger?

I think this might help,I drove down there to see if I could find a # on this thing, it's in rough shape, looks to have been canabalized for parts. Had to get to the left rear cornor I found this 60-15016, the paint was pretty rough and I'm not real sure if the #'s are correct but it's my best guess.

Numbers may not be correct unless their a part number of some kind. Joe Baughers excellent web site shows the only Iroquios ordered in 1960 were from 60-3530 through 3619 and 60-6028 through 6034

15016, if correct, has two possibilities:

66-15016 is a short-cabin UH-1M
69-15016 is a long-cabin UH-1V, which crashed in Saudi Arabia on 7Feb91 when being operated by the 229th Med Det. 1 fatality, 4 injured.

Interesting a Huey marked 15016 was seen in JW Duff's yard near Denver/Stapleton in Oct01, I wonder if the Woodstock machine is the same one?

Can you be a bit more specific about its location please?

It's the short cabin, no pockets for door gunners, seats are all gone, engine is still there. Location, google mapquest for chadwick land fill it's just past there.

Sorry, I believe Chadwicks is a Roswell, address. The county line is just 200' north of the store(It's in Fulton Co, Cherokee line just to the north) on Hwy 140 that come out of Crabapple/Roswell, Ga.
