I search a close up view of the glass roof (sorry I lost the English word) of the P-51H Mustang

I would guess you're looking for CANOPY pictures. Some people might have some good walkaround pictures. For a start, try these:

There is a F-51H under restoration at an Air Force Base in the mid-west.
The website has close up pics of the canopy.
I can't remember where off the top of my head.

That would be the Chanute Air Museum in Rantoul, Illinois. I was just there last week and the restoration looks great. They are having someone outside of Dayton, Ohio make them a new canopy. I don't remember who it is, but it is the same person/company that made the canopies for the F-82 in Dayton.

FV3, your English is fine, most of us don't speak too good of French either. Some of us are fluent in Texan, but English is still a bit foreign, like when you wear your jumper out on a cold morning to raise the bonnet to check the accumulator. What is the story behind the yellow Mustang in your photo? It looks like it has two Malcom type canopies. I have never seen one before like that. Does it have two seats and is that factory or a field modification?

According to the serial no:

P-51B-5 Converted to a two seater and used by the 479th FG painted yellow overall.

As Bill said, your English is just fine, we're glad to have you here! That is certainly an interesting P-51 profile. War Wearys and Squadron hacks could fill a book of their own.

Curious how you decided to make a profile of this aircraft. It's an extremely rare one from the 479th FG/435th FS, my old squadron. I've only seen one photo of it, and it was in the squadron's scrapbook. I scanned the photo before I left.
