PBY... The Angler

Someone on a guitar board I just joined posted a pic for me of his Dad's PBY named The Angler. All I know for location is the South China Sea.

Ring any bells for anyone?

Looks like a serial number on the verticle so I'd say a 2nd ERS 13th AF
OA-10.
