I was taking some photos of myself with the Toys for my Senior Page in my highschools yearbook... The vehicles in the photo are our NAA AT-6G, my 1944 GMC DUKW, and the CFM's Chrysler M50 (M4A4) Sherman... I think I'll be the only one in my class with pics like these! :D :D :D 8)

I'd really like to thank Doug Jeans and all the CFM staff for helping me out today and maintaining one of the best, if not THE best, fleets of military aircraft out there. I'd also like to thank Jim Cavanaugh for his constant devotion to preserving history and ensuring that future generations may see these aircraft.

Cool! Which one are you going to use to take your girlfriend to the senior prom?

I take it that is your Pop in the photo with you? I love the CBI patch on his jacket. Can you offer further explanation of why he wears it?

Thanks,
Scott

He's a flying sponsor on the CAF P-40, so it kind of goes with that theme. Plus, my great-uncle was a tailgunner on a B-25 in the CBI with over 50 missions. On the back of dad's jacket is a painting of a pin-up with the P-40 titled "Kunming Cutie" (spelling?) and mine has the CAF's P-47 with a pin-up on the back titled "Ace In a Day" referring to Oscar Prodomo (spelling?) shooting down 5 Japanese aircraft on the last day of the war.

Very nice to see support of the "unknown" War. Thanks for keeping the memories alive and visible. My Pop had 110 missions in China, Burma and India in P-47's and P38's with the 60th FS of the 33rd FG.

Thanks,

Congrats on some great pictures and your senior year there. I definitely like that picture of you and your dad.

I also submit my thanks to you and your dad for supporting the CBI memory. My Great Uncle flew C-47s over the Hump and B-25H's in the CBI during the war.

Those are awsome pics. My senior pic was with a Cessna 421.

I learned to drink beer and type at the same time :drink3:, I still can't spell worth a darn, and a good editor is a good freind to keep around, especially with important documents.
