Greetings
I was wondering if their was a offical update on the Swamp Ghost B-17 . Had heard some Rumors that its Clearing of Customs (Ransome) might of been met and it was going to be shipped to the States after the first of the Year. I my self dont see that happening as much as I would like it to happen most likely it will set their and Rot down to a condison that will not be SAVED ! any body else have any info ? As always thanks for all of your responces and answers that always seem to keep me in the light of things !

The latest edition of Smithsonian magazine has a nice article and pictures of the recovery. No info of it's final disposition though...

I'm a bit behind on this one myself. How much of it has actually been removed from OogaBooga Land?

All of it has been removed from the swamp. It is now sitting on a loading dock in New Guinea pending a decision whether it can leave the country or not.

A family member gets that here, but I never read it, (I read tons of magazines and the LA Times there's not time for everything) so thanks for the heads up, I will check it out.
