A an admitted flying boat nut, thanks for posting that whole series! The second shot made it to PBY@yahoo. I had posted a comment about 'where's the lake?'

Nothing makes a statement like a big flying boat. Can you imagine the opening scene of "Always" using a Mars?!!!

That would be FAR scarier for sure!

I think that if the Mars was used in the opening scene of Always, the Mars would run them over instead of being able to pull up at what seemed to be the last moment.

i thought that the first picture was of an RC plane. It almost looks unreal until you see the people near the aircraft.
