Trey, tell him if he buys you the plane, you'll fly away from home and pay your own college tuition! (Of course your mom will make sure he pays it anyway............but he doesn't have to know that now.)

In all seriousness, you say it's for sale... I am wondering what the going price is?

Ryan,

check out the website. No price is listed, which means we can't afford it. Sure is pretty though.

It's pretty difficult to say what the going price on a real Boeing P26 would be, as there aren't any for sale, and haven't been for ages. You can't just look up on trade-a-plane what they're going for!

Also, this is not a Boeing P26, it's a Mayocraft P26, not built from Boeing drawings. Which might mean it's worth less (not the real thing) or more (modern materials and techniques, and less than 65 years old) depending on your point of view.

The bottom line is it's a unique, cool, airplane, and a quite a head-turner. The reaction of people on the ramp when you fly or taxi by is just what you'd expect :) What's that worth?

If anybody is really interested in talking prices or making offers, the contact info is on the web site.

BTW there must be a good population of warbird fans reading this forum, as we're getting more hits on the web site from the references here than from any other single source. Keep those cards and letters coming :)
