Jet noise. . . the sound of Freedom!

Sat Nov 10, 2007 11:03 pm

Beautiful day today, sunny and about 82 degrees! 8) Kinikia and I were out working in the garage, doing some "fall cleaning". With no warning, a quartet of F-18 Hornets came streaking over about 1/4 mile north of the house, flying from northeast to southwest in a finger-four formation, and REALLY low, probably right at minimums! They must have been making a flyby for someone's Veteran's Day observance activity. Cool! :D But wait. . . there's more! About five minutes later, they were back, but this time, they flew directly over our house! Way cool! :D Fast jets. . . ya gotta love 'em! 8)

Tomorrow is Veteran's Day here in the USofA. America is the land of the free because of the brave! K. and I offer our heartfelt thanks to every veteran of military service, past, present, and future, for doing their part to keep America free! THANK YOU!!! :D

Cheers!
