I have pictures on the way. I went there today, and was pleasantly surprised. It is a great museum, and the gentleman that let me in was really cool. The planes all look as if they have had some attention, and in many cases fresh paint, and on going restoration work. The FG-1D is in the middle of a markings change, and several of the century aircraft look really great. The people at this base were all very nice. I will get the pics up tonight if I have time.

I didn't know that the WWII stuff was there until this morning.

It's been outside for years.
I guess they don't have an indoor storage area.
At least it's not in a salt air environment like the one on the pole in Stratford, CT!

Very nice. The grounds look better then the last time I visited.

I visited the place a couple of years ago..they have a pretty nice facility. Granted, the aircraft are outside, but they're about as well taken care of as can be expected.

Good to hear the Corsair is getting some attention. A freind of mine belongs to an IPMS chapter that "adopted" the aircraft..it's complete, but a little rough around the edges. Since it's an outdoor bird, the fabric areas and plywood ailerons have been "sheet metalled" over. It's also apparently home to a large population of hornets (and I don't mean F-18s!)
