Are any of you WIXers going to the air show in Peachtree City GA this weekend? I am planning on going, but I don't know which day yet. :?

Nope, I won't make it this year. The C-47 is down with carb problems (anyone got a PD12F5?).

Reilly will be there with one (or both?) B-25's, "Killer Bee" and possibly "Hobbes (nee Carolina Girl)".

Hello Chuck

Sorry you can't make the show! Is there any chance (In your absence) that we can get a P-40,B-17or any old plane up date?

Ya'll just be sure to take good care of my main man "Stan" and the SNJ "22" from Mississippi.

I went yesterday and loved it. I have lived here for a few years but never made it to the show--until this year. Liked the B-2 and Heritage Flight fly overs. Small when compared to the ones I was used to while in the service--but they tend to frown on live-fire at public airshows! All-in-all, a good show but the parking was for crap! Got a few pix if anyone is interested...

Nice weather, nice show both days. Enjoyed seeing Planeosteve, Philip Beegle, & hanging out with the Aeroshell Team. (Steve Gustafson & I are old friends). Dadgum Dixie Wing CAF twisted my arm in to catching up on my dues (paid ahead for next year too). Got to spend some time with some Warbird folks I have not seen in awhile. All in all had a pretty good time. :D

I too had a great time! I met all the performers and all of them are a great bunch, The worst thing that got frustrating was some of them would need oil or smoke oil and then not be at there plane and you would have to hunt them down or just wait on them. I know if I was flying at an airshow it would be hard to get me to stand around and wait for oil and not look around. The smoke oil pump we just installed on the cart claimed it's a 4.5 gal/min pump, it pumped more like 4.5 in ten. Needless to say but we had time for long conversations with the Aeroshell Team since each T-6's has a 20gal smoke oil tank. Every one was down to earth and interesting to talk to. It was good to meet up with some WIXers Robbie Stuart and Steve that is the Crew Chief of the Pacific Prowler. I did not take any pictures at the airshow, but when I got home after Sundays show I made it just in time to see the PBY do a low pass over my house. Come to find out that Killer "B" was practically sitting in my front yard and I just missed it! Some of my neighbor took some shots.
