This is the place where the majority of the warbird (aircraft that have survived military service) discussions will take place. Specialized forums may be added in the new future

Stephen Grey's Twilight Tear just pulled up in a 40 foot container. There are some of Stephen's chaps here to put her together for the GML.

Above are three links with the history of Twilight Tear that is owned by the TFC.
The only problem I see with them is that the Warbird Registry history has two entries between being owned by FlygExpo and the TFC. On the TFC link it says they bought it straight from FlygExpo.

The killer quote from this post
Hear are some photos of some of the parts, clearly identifying it as Lear Jr.'s airplane. We also have the vertical with N251L on the side and lots more parts to prove we absolutely have N251L. We also have all logs, registration and airworthiness certificate. The question is, does someone else have our data tag flying around or is it on someones shelf in their souvenir collection?

Very interesting indeed that thread. On the MustangsMustangs link it says they found swedish markings on the wings and the serial on a placard in the tail when it went back to Sweden. Does anybody know if the swedish serial definately ties up with the American serial.

Have a read of the last post on that thread that Jack linked to, it is a message from Stephen Grey posted by another forum member, telling of how this particular mustang got to Sweden.

I'd be concerned about someone showing up to get the a/c

Which A/C and whom are you referring to?
Also, what should happen to them?
