New News:

NA-50 coming to Colorado.....

JP Thibodeau, son of Joe Thibodeau the Owner Pilot of P-51D "Crusader", and Hawker Sea Fury "Sea Hawk" has purchased a new plane that will be based in the Denver Metro Area. The North American NA-50 is scheduled to arrive in later January.

We seem to have a growing population of warbird and acro pilots living in Colorado.

Looks like it will be a great airshow season next year

Sea Hawk is the aircraft in which Charlie Hillard lost his life at Sun 'n Fun, and before that was operated by Russ Francis in a dark blue Australian Navy scheme.

Where is this NA-50 coming from? the only airworthy example I am aware of is the one in Rod Lewis' collection...

Their is several NA-50 types built in the last 20 ish years from T-6 airframes.
A couple have been advertised for sale in recent months, one with an 1830 up front.
