Hi mustangdriver,
I have photos of the HU-16 (Navy designation) aircraft. I don't know if the USAF SA-16's have the same interior color panels.
The color on the HU-16 interior panels is a light sea foam green color. The color green reminds me of the shade of green that is on Ellsworth Getchell's Sea Fury FB 11 (105). I have a copy of the HU-16 Albatross in action and it shows the SA-16 forward compartment as having light colored panels, possibly white, while the aft compartment has a darker color, maybe green , maybe silver. It's hard to tell as those photos are in black and white.
I worked a couple of years for Aerocrafter's Inc. in Santa Rosa, CA. They restored quite a few Albatross's. I'll round up those pictures and send them to you if you can use them. Maybe this photo helps.
Myles
