Hola Alfonso! Debe que visitar el foro LAAHS (
www.laahs.com). They have many experts on all facets of latin american aviation. I would be willing to bet that your answer lies there, if nobody here has it.

Alfonso, all that I could find so far, is that the batch:
42-78476 through 42-78794 North American B-24J-1-NT Liberator.
Unless these had been build under license by North American (?), then this manufacturer information is probably in error.
The source is Baugher.

Yep, B-24's were produced at North American-Dallas starting with the "G" model. Knocked-down kits were shipped in, primarily from Willow Run, and assembled at Dallas.

Zane,
I had the pleasure to meet the gentleman who likely took the photos in that company newsletter! Ellen and I were in Midland helping Gary one weekend when some of the museum folks brought him out to go through 927. He brought along a photo and "clipart" scrapbook of photography projects that he was involved in during the war. Visiting with him was one of the reasons that volunteering on warbird projects is so fulfilling. Thanks for posting the newsletter!

Thank you.
This is a new one for me, because if I ever read that North American had built B-24s, either it did not register, or I completely forgot.
Thank you guys for the information and the great photos on that newspaper.
Saludos,
Tulio
