Capt. Alvin Neal, 49th Tactical Fighter Squadron?

This little double-entendre poem was in a book I picked up a few years ago in an antique store. Anyone familiar with Captain Alvin Neal or know anything about him?

Well all I can say is that Vella La Vella was a small island in the Solomans
and the 49th Fighter Squadron flew in Africa and Italy :shock: :roll: :idea:
Also by 1944 Vella La Vella was in the rear no P-38s were ever based there. :idea: :roll: :shock:
