my official comment:
Great pictures! The WWII color images makes it look like yesterday, instead of 60 plus years ago. Seriously, it also reminds us that WWII actually included almost EVERYBODY, to one extent or the other.
thank you Jack/Martin!
for my smart a-- comment (and I know alot of you are thinking it on some level!!!):
The officer at the map could be saying "We fly Norte por six or seven miles, turn up sun and come in low from the East. An on the deck group effort buzz job and San Diego La Migra will never know what hit them!"

Love these! Thanks for posting.
I for one think that it would be cool to see a flyer painted as an example of the Mexican AF's contribution to the war effort. Heck, it may even stir up some additional interest in warbirds south of the border.

Those markings are interesting. They appear to have full US insignia, but Mexican rudder stripes, and Mexican insignia on the opposite wings. As a modeler, I'm thinking that would make a coo project. Got any closeups that show the markings more clearly?

If I may, and abusing Scott's kindness, I would like to point those interested on this subject, to this article on the 201st published in our website (LAAHS.com) by Mr. Santiago Flores:

Haven't heard of Santiago Flores in years, what's he up to now that he's out of the Army?
