Just got on a computer so sorry this airsho report was late. I had a blast out in West Texas even if the wx did not cooperate on Sun I did get to see a full show on Sat. I am glad I got to meet Tim and the rest of the guys at the Warbird Digest booth and am a new subscriber to this great new magazine. I am also glad I took my first ever Warbird flight at Airsho although a rather weird plane to take my first flight in which was the CAFS SBD-5 Dauntless, which is actually a rather nimble and powerful plane. I cannot believe the amount of WW2 planes on hand for Airsho, just amazing to see so much variety. I took 11 rolls of film and when I can get back online I will put them up on a temporary web page till I can get some cash to get my own domain name and site. I got some great shots even if the sun WAS in the wrong spot during the USAAC display heh. Now its time to get ready for Wings Over Houston which I will get to see more WW2 acft.

hi nathan,

11 rolls? very cool. Sounds like what I do at oshkosh! Sounds like saturday was a
great day down there. One of these days I'll make it down there. I was really kicking
myself as I found out that Don Blakeslee was down there as a guest... Any chance you
saw any of his appearances or got any pics? Ironcally He just signed a couple of prints for me that I had purchased at oshkosh. Virginia Bader knew him and sent the prints to him
and had him sign them for me. Love to meet the guy if I can ever swing the chance.

Love to see the pics.

thanks,

henning
