I was out in my driveway this morning wasting my time working on my driveway queen. I pupmed some fuel out of it and poured it into the tank of my tacoma. I checked the fuel gauge in the truck and the airport radio came on. I heard a very unusual call sign over the radio for around here. Boeing something someting something was going to transition through the airspace at 1200 feet westbound. I figured it was a stearman, we had one at the airport last weekend for the flight for cystic Fibrosis event, no big deal, back to work I went. Then I heard it, and light dawned over marblehead! AO was in Lawrence, MA (KLWM) selling rides this weekend, and the Pease Airshow, Portsmouth, NH (KPSM) is just north of there so they must have to head southbound to keep out of the class D.
I love the sound of a fort, and we dont get to hear it much in our neck of the woods anymore.
We will probably take a ride up tomorrow and see everyone, maybe they will do another low approach at Plum Island (K2B2)
