A former commercial pilot once said that the B757's climb "like a raped ape". This video is proof enough.

Having seen the RNZAF 757 at Avalon a couple of tiimes the display is very impressive.
They fly it like fighter pilots.

well the Neu Zelande AF 757 is about as close as they can come to a offensive device nowsays long range :)

Tom, this is purely a transport aircraft, one of two Boeing 757's serving with No. 40 (Transport) Squadron, Royal New Zealand Air Force.

When flown in airshows they're flown light and the regular display pilot is an ex-fighter pilot.

Both have recently been undergoing conversion in the USA to give them large cargo doors and more capability as tactical transports, and they will eventually carry cargo as well as troops/VIP's.

And I don't know where croweater gets the idea that its rented, the RNZAF owns the two Boeings.
