Bill & Ted's Excellent AirVenture

Sat Aug 04, 2007 12:32 am

Actually, the following pics record the steps of a successful recruiting mission for the WIX. The photos have been left untampered. The captions may or may not be accurate interpretations of the truth. I will leave it up to the reader to decide.

Ah, an already familar pic... the WIX group photo at Zack's picnic...

Image

When suddenly, Bill Greenwood draws the groups attention to the fact that an approaching cloud bears a striking resemblance to a naked woman..

Image

...and the moment is recorded for posterity, as the group begins labeling identifiable parts of the female anatomy. Mustangdriver notices that the next cloud bears a striking resemblance to the first cloud's sister...

Image

As supplies began to diminish, it was suggested by a certain WIXer who shall remain nameless (ok, it was Jaybird), that a team of volunteers should scout for additional sustenance, and (if at all possible) attempt to identify, photograph, and indoctrinate new members into the WIX.

The target: the SOS Club...an infamous temporary watering hole situated somewhere on the wrong side of Waukau Avenue. Our intrepid scouts, Jaybird, Bear, KF, and Dan-o mingled with the enemy so cleverly that they were soon embraced as equals. Phase Two was set in motion...

Image

Mission accomplished...sustenance and new WIXers. Special thanks go to combat photographer (and married guy) Kaigun Fan for his camera work, and also to married guys Dan K and Jaybird for ensuring that unmarried guy Bear didn't wind up getting married. The end.

Doh! The censor covered up that critical bit of info with the beer bottle. Correction has already been made, and please extend my heartfelt apologies to Mrs. Jaybird.

This was a good night. Not to overlook Zack and Jenn's SUPERB cook-out and hospitality. Incredible people, great food and happy faces all around.

Thanks Zack & Jenn!

That is classic. If my buddy did get sick, I would have been on this mission for sure. Too bad I had to abort.
